A concierge medical practice provides direct access and personalized care to patients. Physicians operating a concierge medical practice will typically form their own boutique medical practice consisting of a small number of qualified physicians.

Patient lists are smaller, which minimizes paperwork and bureaucracy. This means patients get to build trusted relationships with their physicians.

Christopher E. Lacroix, MD is Board-Certified in Internal Medicine and has been practicing in Pitt County for over 19 years.  Since 2015 he has pioneered concierge medicine in the city of Greenville.  During that time, he concentrated on disease prevention, symptom control, and helping his patients with their total wellness.

Elizabeth Cox is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with more than 17 years of experience in healthcare and four years in advanced practice. At Viva Med, she brings together medical expertise and a genuine passion for helping others as an Aesthetics Nurse Practitioner. Her approach is rooted in precision, compassion, and a belief that every patient deserves care tailored to their individual goals and needs.

Elizabeth earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from East Carolina University. Her early career was spent in high-acuity clinical settings—from pediatric intensive care and emergency departments to women’s health—which helped shape her strong clinical instincts and unwavering dedication to excellence.

Over the past three years, Elizabeth has focused her practice on aesthetic medicine, with a particular interest in advanced laser technology. During her tenure at Milan, she was honored with the Medical Excellence Award in both 2023 and 2024 — an acknowledgment of her commitment to patient safety, education, and outstanding outcomes.

A long-time resident of eastern North Carolina, Elizabeth is deeply connected to the community she serves. She is passionate about helping people feel confident and empowered, and she takes pride in making every patient’s experience not only effective, but also personal and meaningful.

Outside of her work, Elizabeth cherishes time with her son, Bradyn. She enjoys attending sporting events and staying active in her church community — always seeking balance, connection, and purpose both professionally and personally.
